Our recommendations when making Bookings.

Some advice for rugby fans when making accommodation bookings around rugby games involved in the rugby world cup.

Because of the international nature of the tournament and the consequent interest that is present in the northern hemisphere, games are being played later than would be normal in New Zealand. Most games have a kickoff at 8.30pm, with both semi-finals and the final commencing at 9.00pm. Transport around the venues after the games will be slow moving and regardless of where people are travelling too, they are unlikely to get to their accommodation before 12.00pm.

To ensure that guests enjoy the next day free from timetable issues, we would strongly recommend that anyone making a booking over a period when a match is being played, consider also booking the following day.

For guests of Hobsonville House, who have booked the following day, Breakfast is available up until 10.00am that following day.
